About Us East Line Lending LLC is an economic arm and instrumentality owned and operated by the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, a federally recognized sovereign Indian tribe and adheres to federal law and the laws of the Menominee Indian Tribe. The Menominee Indian reservation is located east of the mouth of the Menominee River that runs along northern Wisconsin and upper Michigan. The Menominee indian tribe once occupied over 10 million acres of land and engaged in a fur trade after the arrival of French explorer, Jean Nicolet in 1634. The survival of the Menominee people for centuries can be attributed to the Tribe’s resilience. During the 1800s the Menominee Indian Tribe participated in a sequence of treaties with the US Government, and with each treaty, their ownership of land decreased. That came to a halt during the Treaty of 1848 when the Tribe no longer compromised its land rights. Since then, the Tribe has maintained 235,000 acres of their land encompassing 407 miles of roads, 187 rivers and streams, and 53 lakes. View our lending license here. Get Started
